PRE-BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE

Covered Play Areas Expanded

Different weather forecasters can predict different weather right up to the day of the event so we can never be certain what the day is going to turn out like.  However, when the weather outside is frightful be confident that you can find shelter at Apple Jack's Adventure Farm.

Our under-cover play areas were expanded during the 2018 season, and the expansion is ongoing.

As at the time of writing there is:

A massive marquee area with:

A large (rubberised floor) play area
Inflatable slides
Hay bales
the Tip Topper Ball Dropper
Picnic tables

There is a dining marquee with:

a Small stage where entertainment shows are put on
Picnic tables for lunching

Also Jack's Ball Blaster marquee - battle it out with friends

The Haunted House (without actors) is now a permanent fixture at the farm and can be explored.

The Farm Fun House - a massive barn area containing passages to explore and containing one or two surprises.

Take a look at a few images below.

There are gravel and tarmac pathways, however in wet weather you would be wise to bring your wellies and a pac-a-mac with you.  Access to the massive maize maze can be difficult in wet weather.

IN THE CASE OF CHANGEABLE WEATHER
BEING FORECAST FOR MOST OF THE DAY

Lots of people don't mind sloshing about in their wellies and they visit to do exactly that. We only close the entrance-gate due to bad weather if we have health and safety concerns. Otherwise, in changeable weather, the entrance-gate will remain open until early afternoon regardless of weather conditions and will only be closed if bad weather causes all our guests to leave the farm.

We hereby plead with visitors to please resist giving poor reviews due to poor weather as that is something we have no control over.

IN THE CASE OF REALLY BAD WEATHER
BEING FORECAST FOR MOST OF THE DAY

Refunds are not given if bad weather causes disruption. However, if a decision is taken to close the Adventure Farm due to extremely poor weather being expected for most of the day, guests who have pre-booked will, where possible, be notified in advance and they will be provided with a code to postpone their visit to another day during the same season.

Because weather is so changeable confirmation on this might not be given until around midday on the day, but it could be provided earlier.
