Lost children should speak to a member of staff (all staff will be wearing company uniform), they will be escorted to the Gift Emporium. We will then make an announcement over the loudspeaker. It is advisable to arrange a meeting point where one of your group leaders can be based should any of your party get lost, and let your party know where that meeting point is.
As our activities are physically demanding, younger smaller children may find it difficult to take part in activities such as Archery.

FULL PICNICS NOT ALLOWED BUT SANDWICH PACKS ARE
Until mid 2017 we allowed guests to bring along their own full picnic baskets. Unfortunately due to many guests abusing the privilege, leaving rubbish on the farm land, and feeding potentially dangerous scraps to the pigs we have had to withdraw the privilege and guests can no longer bring along a full blown picnic, or children's full party packs. However, small sized sandwich packs and drinks can be brought along. Any guest not abiding by this rule could have their ticket withdrawn and be asked to leave the adventure farm.
We do not host children's birthday parties but (shared) use can be made of our big marquee where children are able to run around and enjoy themselves. The big marquee has a large table at one end that can seat up to twenty people and can be used to celebrate birthday parties. We can provide catering if you let us know in advance after you have purchased your group entrance tickets. You can bring along your own, small, party bags and birthday cake but, due to past abuses, we can no longer allow all the party-food to be brought along with you. There is an entertainment show for children that performs at set times.
See images of the table and kids' packs HERE. Kids packs contain a selection from the grill menu as chosen and paid for by the party group. There is no charge for the marquee or for use of the large table. Use of the large table is on a first-come first-served basis but we will attempt to accommodate you if you pre-book the table by email (after you have purchased your group entrance tickets) and confirm the booking with staff at the site on the day, allowing plenty of time.
ENTRANCE PRICE and EXTRA CHARGES
The entrance price gives you access to all activities other than the mini-digger and quad karts which are coin operated and cost £1 per-ride. Skates are provided for use on the skating rink at no cost but a small charge is made for the loan of elbow and knee safety pads. Car and coach parking is free for the duration of your visit.
Our Gift Emporium should be able to satisfy your gift needs before you leave the farm.
RIGHT TO ENJOYMENT
We try to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and trouble-free day when they visit the park. Unfortunately, there are times when certain visitors misbehave and under these circumstances, the company reserves the right to ask visitors to leave the adventure farm when their behaviour is deemed unacceptable. When children are involved in such a situation, we will contact the group leader prior to any action being taken.
A copy of the Risk Assessment can be viewed at the entrance to the Adventure Farm. All activities are regularly risk assessed and that information is retained on file. However, we are not able to provide visitors or group leaders with any risk assessment information other than that which can be found on this website. Visitors requiring a risk assessment have to undertake their own risk assessment.
OPEN WATER DANGER
Apple Jacks does have a small amount of open water on the farm grounds. However, any open water is off the beaten track and not within the boundaries of the adventure park. Parents or guardians must accompany small children at all times when on the site.
On site vehicle use is kept to an absolute minimum when the farm is open to members of the public. If the need arises to bring a vehicle on site, speed restrictions are reduced to walking pace and all vehicles will put on its hazard warning lights and will be provided with a walking escort.
If travelling by train or bus, on arrival near Warrington make your way to the Central Bus Station near to Warrington Central train station. Take the Number 8 bus to Stretton Road, and get off at the bus stop nearest the entrance gate to Apple Jacks. When arriving via Public Transport, it is important to know that Apple Jacks Adventure Farm has a long driveway to the ticket entrance (around a 15 minute walk). Check on local travel sites or the better known search engines before travelling to ensure you have the latest information.
CAR PARK / COACH PARK
We have a massive car park available. And… it’s totally free to park for the duration of your visit to us! We also have a designated coach parking area for use by large groups of visitors, that is close to the entrance to the attractions, and also free to use. Coach drivers of large parties: drive through the entrance gate onto the track that eventually leads across the bridge over the motorway, keep going until the track opens up onto a massive car park. Drive through the car park to the designated coach parking area on the left close to the entrance to the attractions. The Car Park will open 15 minutes before the attractions open, and will be closed and locked 30 minutes after the attraction closes. All vehicles are left at the driver's own risk.

Lots of people don't mind sloshing about in their wellies and turn up to do just that. We only close the entrance-gate due to really bad weather if we have health and safety concerns. Otherwise, the entrance-gate will remain open until early afternoon regardless of weather conditions and will only be closed if bad weather causes all our guests to leave. There are plenty of covered play areas on the site where you are able to take shelter from heavy downpours, and there are gravel and tarmac pathways, however in wet weather you would be wise to bring your wellies and a pac-a-mac with you.
REALLY BAD WEATHER
If a decision is taken to close the Adventure Farm due to extremely severe weather conditions being expected for most of the day, guests who have booked in advance will, where possible, be informed as soon as possible via email and will be provided with a code to postpone their visit for another day during the same season. Closure will also be announced on our social media accounts. There is plenty of cover available on the site and some customers complain if we do close, therefore we only close the attraction in the most extreme of circumstances and visitors should assume we will be open unless otherwise announced.
Tickets can only be used for the date and session shown on the ticket. Make sure you choose the correct ticket type, date and session as tickets cannot be cancelled, refunded, swapped or exchanged after they have been ordered! Refunds are given only in accordance with statutory regulations in the event of the event being cancelled, rescheduled, or moved to a different location. The Citizens Advice website provides information on consumer rights when purchasing an event ticket.
CHARITY DONATIONS and RAFFLE PRIZE REQUESTS
Apple Jack's Adventure Farm has an adopted charity that it regularly supports and therefore does not respond to the many, many requests that are received for donations to charity, nor to requests to provide raffle prizes to raise money for good causes.
