Lost children should speak to a member of staff (all staff will be wearing company uniform), they will be escorted to the Gift Emporium. We will then make an announcement over the tannoy. It is advisable to arrange a meeting point where one of your group leaders can be based should any of your party get lost, and let your party know where that meeting point is.
As our activities are physically demanding, younger children may find it difficult to take part in activities such as Archery.

View our grill menu here.
We sell a wide range of food, including jacket potatoes, salads & sandwiches. Please contact us to discuss any special requirements.
PICNICS NOT ALLOWED
Until 31 Aug 17 we allowed guests to bring along their own picnic. Unfortunately due to some guests abusing the privilege, leaving rubbish on the farm land, and feeding potentially dangerous scraps to the pigs we have had to withdraw the privilege and guests can no longer bring along a picnic. Any guest not abiding by this rule could have their ticket withdrawn and be asked to leave the adventure farm.
We do not host children's birthday parties but (shared) use can be made of our big marquee where children are able to run around and enjoy themselves. The big marquee has a large table at one end that can seat up to twenty people and can be used to celebrate birthday parties.
We can provide catering if you let us know in advance after you have purchased your group entrance tickets. You can bring along your own party bags but, due to abuses, we can no longer allow all the party-food to be brought along with you.
There is an entertainment show for children that performs at set times.
ENTRANCE PRICE (EXTRA CHARGES)
The entrance price gives you access to all our attractions other than the mini-digger and quad karts which are coin operated and cost £1 per-ride. Skates are provided for use on the skating rink at no cost but a small charge is made for the loan of elbow and knee safety pads. Car and coach parking is free.
Our Gift Emporium should be able to satisfy your gift needs before you leave the farm.
RIGHT TO ENJOYMENT
We try to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and trouble-free day when they visit the park. Unfortunately, there are times when certain visitors misbehave and under these circumstances, the company reserves the right to ask visitors to leave the park when their behaviour is deemed unacceptable. When children are involved in such a situation, we will contact the group leader prior to any action being taken.
A copy of the Risk Assessment can be viewed at the entrance to the Adventure Farm. If you are planning a group visit and require a copy of the Risk Assessment in advance please use the contact form on the website to provide information and request a copy.

Apple Jacks does have a small amount of open water at the park. However, any open water is off the beaten track and not within the boundaries of the adventure park. Parents and Guardians must accompany small children at all times.
On site vehicle use is kept to an absolute minimum when the park is open to members of the public. If the need arises to bring a vehicle on site, speed restrictions are reduced to walking pace and all vehicles will put on its hazard warning lights and will be provided with a walking escort.
We always have at least 1 trained first aider on duty at all times. More are on duty on busier days. Please note, we are only equipped to treat minor injuries and our staff cannot administer tablets, creams or medicines.

Lots of people don't mind sloshing about in their wellies and we only close the entrance-gate due to bad weather if we have health and safety concerns. Otherwise, the entrance-gate will remain open until early afternoon regardless of weather conditions and will only be closed if bad weather causes all our guests to leave. There are covered areas on the site where you are able to take shelter from heavy downpours, and there are gravel and tarmac pathways, however in wet weather you would be wise to bring your wellies and a pac-a-mac with you.
